TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
